A review of the history of European-Inuit contacts and relations
in the Canadian Arctic from earliest times. Particular emphasis
will be placed on the history of Canadian Arctic administration
during the twentieth century, the politicization of the Inuit in
recent years and the development of plans for the Nunavut.
Prerequisite: Registration status: senior student.
