BI221 Human Anatomy and Physiology: Part 1 F 0.5 This course examines both the anatomy and physiology of specific organ systems beginning with the functional role of the cells in the body. The organ systems involved in protection, support, movement and control of the body will be discussed. These include the integumentary, skeletal, muscular and nervous systems. (Cross-listed as PE221.) Prerequisite: BI100* or BI101* (or permission of the Department). Exclusion: BI203*, BI210, BI220, BI253*, BI309*, BI409*, PE219, PE220. 2 lecture hours, 3 lab. hours
