An introduction to the theory of interpretation and to basic
interpreting skills. Developments of memory and listening skills;
oral presentations involving analysis, synthesis and reproduction
of selected texts; paraphrasing and the writing of summaries;
sight translations.   
Prerequisite: FR321*/FR471* (or permission of the Department).
