GENERAL BSc PROGRAMS

 Objectives
The General BSc program is designed to give the student knowledge
and appreciation of the broad range of human endeavour in the
sciences, humanities, and social sciences, while providing for
study in greater depth and detail of the student's chosen major
subject in the natural sciences, mathematics, or computing. The
study of the major subject takes place in the context of other
natural sciences, mathematics and computing. It may be further
augmented by the choice of a second major, a minor, or an
available option in another subject.

A student in the General BSc program must choose a
major subject from among Biology, Chemistry, Computing,
Mathematics, Physical Geography, Physics and Statistics.

For a secondary program, the student may select as a
second major any of the above subjects or any major available in
the General BA program, or, alternatively, a minor or an
available option. To complete any major, minor, or option, all
applicable Common and Special Requirements must be fulfilled.
Additional credits may be necessary to fulfil all applicable
requirements.
