A study of the Greek and Anatolian cultural spheres from
approximately 1100 to 480 B.C. Emphasis is on the development of
the dynamic new artistic expressions of the period, as seen in
sculpture and architecture. The artistic influence on Greece from
the older cultures of the East is also considered. (Cross-listed
