 Music Appreciation: Romantic and 20th Century

A study of selected compositions of Western classical music from 
1800 to the present, with emphasis on the development of listening 
skills. 
Prerequisite: MU115, MU122, or equivalent musical background. 
Exclusion: BA Music Major; and Honours Music programs. 
As a rule, only students registered in the Faculty of Music may 
take practical study courses. However, students in other faculties 
who audition successfully for the WLU Orchestra or Wind Ensemble 
may also register for practical study in their instrument, studio 
space permitting.
