The fundamentals of lyric diction in the five languages most used 
by singers - English, French, German, Italian, and Latin. A study 
of the International Phonetic Alphabet and its application to 
singing in these languages will be included. 
Prerequisite: Second Year standing in a Music program and 
permission of the Dean.
