An archaeological study of the Eighteenth Dynasty, one of the high
points of Egyptian art and culture. The course will concentrate on the 
battle for Egyptian independence, the building of the Egyptian Empire, 
the art and architecture of the conquering Pharaohs, the reign of the 
heretic Ikhnaton, the valley of the Kings, and the Tomb of Tut-ankh-amun.
