The river basin is viewed as an integrated geographic unit. The
whole basin and its individual components are studied to gain an 
understanding of the relationships between the processes and the 
materials as they interact and influence the surface configuration of
the land, the pattern of the streams and the flow characteristics
of the water. (Physical  Geography)  
Prerequisite: One of GG230, GG280, GG281*.
Exclusion: GG332.
