 Introduction to Multivariate Analysis

Multivariate normal and Wishart distributions; estimation and
hypothesis testing for data from one and two independent normal 
populations; classification procedures including discriminant and cluster 
analyses; principal component and factor analyses. Data may be
processed using available statistical software packages.  
 Prerequisite: MA122, and either  MA140* or MA240 (or
permission of the Department).
