public administration within a Canadian setting. Important areas of study 
include the historical development of public administration as a field of 
study; the work of notable writers in the field; the ecology of public 
administration; the growth of the modern state and its effect on the
public service administrator; the role of the public service within
the Canadian federal government structure; and the structures and 
processes of Canadian Public Administration.
Prerequisite: At least one credit in Canadian Government (or
permission of the Department).
