A study of the relationship between the mental and the  physical,
and the nature of mental phenomena such as thought, desire, sensation, 
consciousness, emotion and artificial intelligence. A variety of theories 
(dualism, materialism, functionalism, etc.), both classical and 
contemporary, are examined.   
Prerequisite: Registration status: senior student.
