Manager Bookstore: Shelley Worden, BA, Ext. 3107
 Location: Concourse, Central Teaching Building
Hours: Regular hours are from 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
throughout the year, with the exception of Fridays when the
store closes at 4:30 p.m. The store is also open
evenings in the first weeks of classes in September and
      January, as posted.
The Bookstore is one of several ancillary services provided for
students, faculty and staff. It is operated in such a way as to
pay for all reasonable costs out of income generated, and
endeavours to generate a small net surplus. Seventy percent of its
business is in the sale of books: texts, course packages and
general and reference books. The bookstore also carries a wide
range of paper, writing instruments, and computer and electronic
supplies, as well as greeting cards, magazines, some software,
confectionary items, a special order service for books and a photo
finishing service. Savings can be enjoyed through special sales
held throughout the year, the Laurier Book Club and the monthly
used book buyback. The Bookstore organizes a Meet the Author series
each year to promote the reading of and interest in books.

The Bookstore has a staff who are qualified to provide a
worthwhile service in an academic environment and an advisory
committee of faculty and students.
