Audio Visual Resources Manager Audio Visual Resources: John Durst, BA, Ext. 3075 Office Location: Central Teaching Building, Room 2-617, Peters Building, Room P1035, and Science Building, Room N1052. Audio Visual Resources provides support for the teaching and learning process through the effective use of audio visual technology. A variety of resources are available to students, faculty and staff for use in the classroom, including standard audio visual equipment such as overhead, slide and film projectors, audio and video recording and playback apparatus, video and computer projection equipment. International TV programs are accessible via satellite reception. Technical assistance is provided for set-up and operation of more complex equipment. WLU houses a collection of over 1,200 educational film and video titles covering most academic areas. Titles are also attainable from a number of sources off campus and assistance is provided for the location and acquisition of suitable material. Facilities are available for image and text scanning, laminating, and for making overhead transparencies and 35mm slides.
