Award Description

The Sims Scholarship in Science & Technology

Established by the Sims family to encourage young women to continue their studies in science and mathematics, this award is presented annually to a student entering the Second Year of an Honours program in Science, Mathematics, Physical Geography, or Computing and Computer Electronics. Preference will be given to female candidates. Special conditions: student must be entering Second Year and enrolled in an Honours Mathematics or Science program; must display leadership abilities and good academic standing. Strong consideration will be given to positive evidence of leadership and contribution to University and/or community life.
