Award Description

William K. Caldwell Scholarship

Awarded to one of three top students completing their Third Year of an Honours Program. While the emphasis is on academic excellence, students will also be judged upon overall citizenship while an undergraduate. The scholarship was first awarded in 1984-85 to a student from the School of Business and Economics. In 1985-86, using the same criteria, the recipient was from the Honours Science Program. In subsequent years the award will alternate between students in Honours Business and Economics (years ending with an even number ie. 1998), and Honours Science (years ending with an odd number ie. 1999) programs. The award is open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
