Award Description

The Jerry Scharlach Memorial Award

This award has been established in memory of Jerry Scharlach, a coach, leader, and active community member of the Waterloo Minor Baseball Association. The recipient of this award must be a resident of Waterloo and also have been a registered player for three years in WMBA. He/She must be in good academic standing, been active in the community, and demonstrate financial need. Students should complete an application at the WLU Student Awards office. Selection will be made by the Director of Student Awards in consultation with the WMBA executive.
