Award Description

David Barr Chilton Scholarship

This scholarship is available to a Waterloo Region student entering first year of an Honours Economics program with an average of at least 90 percent in his/her Ontario Academic Credits. The student must maintain a GPA of at least 10.0 in his/her economics courses to receive the scholarship in second, third and fourth year. The scholarship winner will be a well-rounded individual who demonstrates leadership qualities and/or contributions to the community and has proven financial need. At the end of first year, the student is required to write to the donor describing his/her first-year experience and outlining future career goals.
