Course Description

FI105 Colour 1.0

Through a variety of media, the processes of identifying, using and understanding the properties of colour are explored. The course emphasizes the use of colour as a tool in painting and its impact upon the viewer. Visual literacy is imparted through an understanding of these processes in the context of art history and by a wide range of examples and reference materials. (Distance Education course taught over two terms.)
