Course Description

MU366 Electro-Acoustic Music 0.5

A study of digital synthesis, sampling and signal processing with an emphasis on musical composition. Students will become acquainted with a micro-computer based 'studio' which will be used to produce several short compositions. The course will also cover other related technical, historical and aesthetic topics.

Prerequisite: MU160B, or permission of the Dean.
Co-requisite: MU259.
