Payment of Fees

Fees are charged on a per term basis and are due as follows:

Fall Term 1999 August 25, 1999
Winter Term 2000 December 15, 1999
Spring Term, Intersession and Summer Session 2000 April 19, 2000

Fees assessed as a result of changes to or late registration, are due and payable within 10 days if this activity occurs after the normal due date for the term. Fees are due regardless of whether a statement has been received. Full account information, updated weekly, is available on-line.

Students wishing to opt out of programs with opt-out options (Extended Health, PRISM or STEP) must follow the procedures and deadlines established by those individual programs. It is not sufficient to notify the Business Office of your intention to opt out.

Tuition fees are assessed for "Registered" students based on actual course registration. Fees for "Confirmed only" students are assessed based on the average registration of 2.5 credits per term.

Graphics New for Fall 1999: Fees may be paid at a bank teller or bank machine at any branch in Canada at most financial institutions. Ensure that you include the remittance portion of your invoice when paying at the bank.

Fees may be paid to the Business Office by cash, certified cheque, or non-certified cheque. In the case of payments made by non-certified cheque, no refunds will be issued for at least 21 days following payment. Any financial holds which are placed on an account will not be cleared for at least 21 days following payment by non-certified cheques. Any student with a poor payment record may be required to pay with a certified cheque, money order or cash.

Senior Citizens (60 years of age by start date of lectures) are exempt from tuition for all courses but are responsible for payment of all distance education charges, incidental and/or miscellaneous fees, including the Comprehensive Student Services Fee, where applicable.
