Laurier is committed to the occupational health and safety of its employees and to providing a safe work environment at all times. The Environmental/Health and Safety Office serves as a resource/consultant/advisor to the Laurier community on environmental and occupational health and safety-related issues to ensure legislative compliance and reduce liability towards the entire University community. The Manager of Environmental/Health and Safety takes a lead role in advising the Laurier community on a wide range of environmental/health and safety issues and undertakes a central co-ordinating role for the implementation of health and safety programs to effect a comprehensive Environmental/Health and Safety Management System.
