Award Description

The Joan Heimbecker Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship has been established by the University in memory of Joan Heimbecker, a graduate of the 1993 class and recipient of the Governor General's Academic Medal. The scholarship is open to students entering the final year of an undergraduate program who have maintained a high level of academic performance. Involvement in extra-curricular activities at Wilfrid Laurier University will also be considered when selecting a recipient. Inquiries and/or applications should be addressed to the Director, Student Awards. Application deadline for this scholarship is the last Friday in October of each academic year.
