Award Description

The Lansdowne Scholarships

Students from the geographic areas of St. Thomas/Elgin County, Strathroy, Tillsonburg, Wawa, Marathon, White River, Nipigon, Manitouwadge, Terrace Bay, Waterloo Region, City of York and Ottawa-Carleton may apply for this prestigious scholarship. The maximum value of the scholarships will be the cost of tuition plus compulsory fees provided the student earns a minimum of half of the tuition and compulsory fees. All students must reside in the above areas, have good academic standing in secondary school, have made a contribution to school and/or community in leadership, and demonstrate financial need.Applications for this scholarship must be received in the Student Awards Office of Wilfrid Laurier University by February 25th, 2000.
