The Mariposa Scholarship

Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo is proud to offer the Mariposa Scholarship valued at up to $24,000. The scholarship is directed at persons with physical disabilities, and students who have been wards of the Children's Aid Society, residents of a group home or other similar facilities serving troubled youth. Students from the geographic areas of St. Thomas/Elgin County, Strathroy, Tillsonburg, Wawa, Marathon, White River, Nipigon, Manitouwadge, Terrace Bay, Waterloo Region, City of York and Ottawa-Carleton may apply for this prestigious scholarship. All students must have good academic standing in secondary school.Applications for this scholarship must be received in the Student Awards Office of Wilfrid Laurier University by February 25th, 2000.
