The Gotthard Booth Bursary

The Gotthard Booth Bursary reflects the interests of Dr. Gotthard Booth, whose archives are in the WLU library. Among those interests were religion, healing and health; imagination, creativity, and the arts; symbol, myth and ritual; illness, aging and death, psychology and therapy. The bursary, not necessarily given every year, is awarded in recognition of achievements in these or related areas.

The Gotthard Booth Bursary will be given to a Religion and Culture student, graduate or undergraduate, in recognition of exceptional creativity and vision in the study of religion. The recipient must have proven financial need and be a resident of Ontario.
