Award Description

President's Scholarship

This scholarship was created by the University in memory of Dr. Neale H. Tayler, President of Wilfrid Laurier University from 1978 to 1982. President's scholarship, tenable for one year, is available to an outstanding Third or Fourth Year student in the Faculty of Music. Following the recommendation of the faculty to the President, the award will be made to a student with an outstanding academic record (normally a GPA of at least 10.00) as well as substantial and high-quality involvement while at Laurier in student activities, creative endeavours, or community service beyond that required for the academic program. The deadline date to apply is April 1 of the upcoming academic year.
