Award Description

The Certified General Accountants Association of Ontario Award

Awarded annually by the Certified General Accountants Association of Ontario to graduating students who have displayed outstanding achievement in accounting, and have the highest GPA in BU387, BU397, and BU467. To be eligible, students must have a minimum GPA of 10.00 in the three courses listed above. The award is $1,000.00, composed of a cash award of $150.00 and a credit of $850.00 to be drawn on when the successful candidate wishes, for the purpose of defraying any fees related to courses in the CGA program. The first draw on the credit must be made not later than 18 months after the date of notification of the successful candidate.
