CH212 Thermodynamics 0.5

A development of, and introduction to, the three laws of thermodynamics from a macroscopic approach. The application of thermodynamic concepts to physical and chemical systems, including a study of phase equilibria, chemical equilibria and solution chemistry.

Prerequisite: CH100*, and MA101 and MA102, or MA105.
Exclusion: CH211, CH311.
