EC217 Economic History of Canada 0.5

This course examines Canada's historical economic growth and development from the early nineteenth century to the 1980s. The topics to be covered include agricultural development, trade policy, transportation, banking, resources, capital formation, industrialization and population change.

Prerequisite: EC120 (or EC101), EC140 (or EC102).
Exclusion: EC317.
