KP121 Socio-Cultural Aspects of Physical Activity 0.5

An examination of the historical, philosophical, sociological and psychological dimensions of physical activity. Topics include the history of physical education in Canada, ethics and values in sport, motivation and motor performance, and socialization into and through sport.

Prerequisite: Registration in the Kinesiology and Physical Education program (or permission of the Department).
