Laurier is committed to the occupational health and safety of its employees and to providing a safe work environment at all times. The Health and Safety Office serves as a resource/consultant/advisor to the Laurier community on occupational health and safety-related issues to ensure legislative compliance and reduce liability towards the entire University community. The Health and Safety Office takes a lead role in advising the Laurier community on a wide range of health and safety issues and undertakes a central co-ordinating role for the implementation of health and safety programs to effect a comprehensive Health and Safety Management System.
