A unique, three-year General BA program is offered at the Brantford Campus. Both full-time and part-time students can be admitted to this 15-credit degree program. The curriculum, which features a major in Contemporary Studies, offers students a liberal arts education built around a set of core courses. In addition to these core courses, a range of other discipline courses is available which enables students to experience a wide variety of subject areas including Anthropology, Business, Canadian Studies, Computing, English, French, Geography, History, Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology. Other BA major programs may be possible upon consultation with the Dean of the Brantford Campus.

Admission standards for the General BA degree program are the same for Brantford applicants as for applicants to the Waterloo campus. As well, the program allows for the full transfer of credits earned at the Brantford campus to the Waterloo campus. However, minimum admission requirements for competitive programs should be noted when considering this option. Refer to the Undergraduate Admissions chapter regarding requirements for all Honours degree programs.
