Admission Policies

Completed a Three-Year Program

Applicants who have achieved a cumulative average of B- or better or have a B- average or better in the last two semesters in a three-year CAAT program are considered for admission. Advanced standing may be awarded up to five full credit courses to meet unspecified divisional credits, elective requirements.

Completed a Two-Year Program

Applicants who have achieved a cumulative average of B- or better or who have a B- average or better in the last two semesters of a two-year program are considered for admission to the First Year of an appropriate program. Advanced standing may be awarded up to three full-credit courses to meet unspecific divisional credits, elective requirements, and honours/major requirements where appropriate. Up to two additional full-credit courses may be granted (for a total of five full-credit courses).

Completed Two Years of a Three Year Program

Applicants who have completed two years of a three year program and achieved a cumulative average of B- or better or who have a B- average or better in the last two semesters are considered for admission to First Year of an appropriate program. Advanced standing may be awarded up to three full-credit courses to meet unspecific divisional credits, elective requirements, and honours/major requirements where appropriate. Up to two additional full-credit courses may be granted (for a total of five full-credit courses).

Completed One Year of a Program

Applicants who have completed the First Year of a CAAT program with a cumulative average of A- or better and who are recommended for university studies by the college counsellors are considered for admission to First Year of an appropriate university program.

CAAT students who do not meet these requirements will be considered on an individual basis by the Admissions Committee.
