Payment of Fees

Fees are charged on a per term basis and are due as follows:

Winter Term 2002 December 12, 2001
Spring Term 2002 April 16, 2002
Intersession 2002 April 16, 2002
Summer Session 2002 April 16, 2002
Fall Term 2002 August 22, 2002
Winter Term 2003 December 12, 2002
Spring Term 2003 April 16, 2003
Intersession 2003 April 16, 2003
Summer Session 2003 April 16, 2003

Fees assessed as a result of changes to or late registration, are due and payable within 10 days if this activity occurs after the normal due date for the term. Fees are due regardless of whether a statement has been received. Full account information, updated weekly, is available on-line.

Students wishing to opt out of programs with opt-out options (Extended Health, PRISM or STEP) must follow the procedures and deadlines established by those individual programs. It is not sufficient to notify the Business Office of your intention to opt out.

Tuition fees are assessed for registered students based on actual course registration. Fees for confirmed only students are assessed based on the average registration of 2.5 credits per term.

Fees may be paid at a bank teller or bank machine at any branch in Canada and at most financial institutions. Ensure that the remittance portion of the invoice is included when paying at the bank.

Fees may also be paid to the Business Office by cash, certified cheque, non-certified cheque or Interac. In the case of payments made by non-certified cheque, no refunds will be issued for at least 21 days following payment. Any financial holds, which are placed on an account, will not be cleared for at least 21 days following payment by non-certified cheques. Any student with a poor payment record may be required to pay with a certified cheque, money order or cash.
