Honours BA Archaeology

The Interdepartmental Honours Program in Archaeology consists of a minimum of 20 full-credit courses (or equivalent). Four areas of specialization are offered: Classical, Near Eastern, North American Historical/Industrial and North American Prehistoric. Although the four areas have six common Core credits as noted below, each program also has a number of particular courses that are required, some in Archaeology and some in related fields. Consequently, students should strive to choose their area of specialization in the First Year, and those wishing to change programs should consult with the Chair.
