Honours BA History

The Honours History program consists of 20 full-credit courses (or equivalent). Not more than six credits at the 100 level may be counted toward the degree, and one of these six must be in History. Nine of the 20 credits must be in senior History courses, certain of which are required and must be taken in a specific year of the program.

First Year
One credit selected from HI101 to HI122*

Second Year
HI251, HI252
Two additional 200 level History credits

Third Year
Two 300 level History credits
One additional 200 or 300 level History credit

Fourth Year
Two 400 level History credits
One 200 or 300 level History credit

Note: One 200 or 300 level credit in Canadian History is required.
