Honours BSc Biology and Psychology

The Honours BSc Biology and Psychology program consists of a minimum of 20 full-credit courses (or equivalent), of which at most six may be at the 100 level. For progression into the Second Year of the program, a GP of at least 6.0 is required in each of BI100* and PS100*; for progression into subsequent years and for graduation, the cumulative GPA will be calculated on the Biology and Psychology courses separately. (BI491 is not available to students in this program.)

Year 1
BI100*, CH100*, PS100*; either both MA105 and MA141, or both MA103 and MA104
At least one half-credit from AN101, AN102, EC120, EC140, GG100*, PO110, PO111, SY100*, or a senior half-credit in these disciplines (except Physical Geography)
At least one half-credit from Archaeology, Classics, English, non-studio Fine Arts, non-studio Film Studies, History, Languages and Literatures, Music History, Philosophy, Religion and Culture, TR101 or TR111.

Year 2
Two senior Biology credits; CH200*, PS295, PS296 and two of PS260, PS261, PS262, PS263.

Year 3
One and a half senior Biology credits; CH330, CH331; PS395, PS396, and two of PS360, PS361, PS362, PS363; one of PS460, PS461, PS462, PS463, PS465.

Year 4
PS390, and one of PS270, PS275, PS280, PS282.
One-half non-Biology non-Psychology elective credit.
If a thesis is completed in Biology: BI490* and two senior Biology credits (at least one of which must be at the 400 level), plus one half-credit in senior Psychology.
If a thesis is completed in Psychology: PS499*, plus two and a half senior Biology credits (at least one of which must be at the 400 level).
