An examination of the development of feminist theory from the 18th century to the present, with study of selected texts representative of the major feminist perspectives. Emphasis will be placed on the most influential texts in the field of sociology.††

Prerequisite: SY203* or SY233*; SY387 or SY388 (or permission of the department).
