Course Description

CH100* Fundamentals of Chemistry 1.0

The relationship of atomic structure to physical and chemical properties of elements and compounds; physical aspects of chemical reactions; solutions and their properties; acids and bases; electro-chemistry; chemistry calculations; laboratory experiments illustrating and applying chemical principles.

Prerequisite: OAC Chemistry (or permission of the department).

Exclusion: CH101*.
