This course will focus on methodological practices and issues aimed at preparing students for field studies research. It will consider the interactions between both natural and human communities and local cultures and environments, and the notions of space and place. Emphasis is placed on local communities as microcosms of larger Canadian environments. (Cross-listed as CA253.)†
