HI305* New Dimensions in British Empire and Commonwealth History 1.0

An examination of the British Empire-Commonwealth. Attention will be given to the growth of empire, the institutional framework, the imperial biographies, and sea power and communications. Attention will also be given to native peoples, colonial economics, decolonization and the history of the Commonwealth ideal.†
