An introduction to mathematical methods used in financial analysis. Linear algebra, calculus and probability and statistics are used in the analysis of problems in areas such as input-output analysis, inventory problems, bonds, annuities, amortization, futures, options, profit/cost optimization, decisions under certainty/uncertainty, capital budgeting and risk and return. |
Prerequisite: MA103, MA122, MA240; CP102 or CP104. |
