RE332 Sacred Space 0.5

This course will explore sacred spaces and places, including their roles, meanings and the rituals associated with them. This will include attention to pilgrimage sites, holy lands and places of worship in several religious traditions. We will also examine issues of methodology and the various approaches that scholars use to study sacred space and pilgrimage.
