Internationalization is a priority of Wilfrid Laurier University. Students from more than 60 countries are currently studying at Laurier. They choose Laurier because of the quality programs, distinguished faculty, small classes, compact campus, and the fact that Laurier graduates are in demand for jobs in Canada and around the world. Laurier graduates are located in more than 75 countries.

The international student co-ordinator interacts extensively with the entire university community to ensure that Laurier's students have excellent educational experiences. Specific duties include the promotion of the university internationally, transition assistance and orientation, academic and personal advising, resource liaison, referrals, the delivery of services and student life research. The office of the International Student Co-ordinator provides services and resources that assist all international students before they leave home, while on campus, and as they prepare for their journey home.

Admission queries for students planning to study at Laurier via exchange programs should be directed to the international student co-ordinator. Those students interested in studying under the Short Term Study Program (one or two semesters of study) should contact the Laurier International Office via e-mail at: <22lint@wlu.ca> or visit the Laurier International Web site at: <http://www.wlu.ca/~wwwlinte/visa.html>

International students interested in applying to study for a Laurier degree must apply through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre, on-line at <http://compass.ouac.on.ca> using the Compass on-line 105F application form. (Note: there is a $95.00 CAN. fee). International students currently residing in Canada and Canadian students living abroad must complete the 105D form.
