General BA Women's Studies

WS100; any 2 courses (1.0 credit) from WS 200 level; WS303; plus 4.0 additional credits from core or approved Women's Studies courses
1.0 credit from Curriculum Division C courses.
Notes:

  1. Students are advised that many of the courses in the program, particularly in Sociology, have prerequisites, and are encouraged to consult with the co-ordinator when selecting courses.
  2. At least 4.0 of the 6.0 credits must be taken at Wilfrid Laurier University to satisfy the residence requirements. (See Academic Regulations: Residence Requirements for a degree.)
  3. WS301, WS390 and other Special Topics courses may be credited towards the Women's Studies major, as may courses from the Women's Studies program at the University of Waterloo. However, all such courses require prior written approval from, and categorization by, the co-ordinating committee. A more complete list of previously-approved courses will be available from the co-ordinator.
