Laurier's Brantford campus offers a unique core curriculum which can be combined with many of Laurier's established programs in the arts and sciences. All full-time students on the Brantford campus take courses in the Contemporary Studies program.

The Honours BA Contemporary Studies program is a four-year, 20-credit program which allows for advanced and in depth interdisciplinary study. The General BA Contemporary Studies program is a three-year, 15-credit program which is designed to promote a broad understanding of the skills and knowledge needed to understand contemporary issues and concerns.

Both of Brantford's core programs can be combined with the arts and science majors, minors and options listed below. Some of these programs are available only at the Brantford campus. Others are available in Waterloo.

Articulation agreements with other post-secondary institutions allow students to combine their studies with Business, Police Foundations, Graphic Design and other designated programs at Mohawk College.

In September 2002, the campus will begin offering a concurrent Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education degree program in partnership with Nipissing University.
