Mandarin Chinese is the language of instruction, except for the Mandarin language training option. Open to senior undergraduate students studying business, fine arts, geography and environmental studies, Mandarin Chinese language and music. Sponsored by the department of Human Resources Development Canada (HDRC), the program's aim is to provide Canadian undergraduate students an opportunity to study at Taiwanese universities, and to provide Taiwanese undergraduate students an opportunity to study at Canadian universities. HDRC offers a number of stipends with a maximum value of $4,850 per student (funding for a maximum of five months).
