SP100* Introduction to Spanish 1.0

An introduction to the phonological system of the language, for students with little or no knowledge of Spanish. Emphasis will be placed on basic grammar, practical vocabulary and development of verbal and written communication skills. (U of W - SPAN 101 and SPAN 102)

Exclusion: Grade 11 (or above) Spanish or equivalent (except with permission of the department).

3 lecture hours, 1 lab hour, 1 oral practice hour
