HI361 History of Poland to the Partitions, 966-1795 0.5

This course surveys the major issues in Poland's History from the origins of the first Polish State in 966 to its collapse after the third partition in 1796. The course will focus on the political and cultural development of Poles and other national groups (i.e., Germans, Jews, Ruthenians, Lithuanians, Tartars) living within the changing borders of the Polish state and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. {E} {P} {C/S}
